Reasons to use this strong password generator
There's no denying it - our lives are now truly digital. With everything from work, finance and healthcare through to entertainment and social media, we are now expected to create and remember many tens or even hundreds of passwords. Unfortunately, for convenience most people create an easy to remember password (e.g. 'password123' or 'abcdefg') and then they proceed to use that same password for absolutely everything. As tempting as it is, don't do this! To protect yourself it's vitally important to use strong passwords that are difficult to guess.
Here are some essential passwword usage tips:
- Always use a strong password generator (like this one!) to create your passwords. Passwords that are easy to remember are also easy to guess.
- Never share your password with anyone.
- Use different passwords for every website, service or system. If you can't manage this at least use a unique password for the really important stuff. For example. you really should be using a strong, unique password for your online banking.
- Don't use your web browser to remember logins. If your computer gets stolen or even if someone sits down in front of it, they will have access to everything.
